HUMBLE COFFEE

If you have been by Baker A+D's offices lately you have no doubt experienced the hustle and bustle of our little neighborhood which, with the recent opening of Humble Coffee, has created quite the buzz on Lomas. This local coffee company opened its doors Fall of 2014 and has already gained quite the following, from students and professionals to families and coffee lovers in general.

Baker A+D's interior design blends a mixture of clean-lines and texture with a warm and inviting color palette. Custom steel signage and outdoor seating welcome guests into the space while inside, a generous concrete countertop provides plenty of bar seating and ample working space for Humble's talented team of baristas. Reclaimed wood is used along the side of the bar, and its original paint adds pops of Humble's signature turquoise color throughout. Custom steel shelving lines the walls and displays all the available merchandise while the exposed concrete floors and ceiling structure add to the rustic-industrial feel without overwhelming the comfortable and warm atmosphere.

This little commercial space is just part of the rejuvenation that is beginning to take place on Lomas. As the neighborhood searches for an identity within the greater Albuquerque area, Humble Coffee has already made its mark. The next time you stop by Baker A+D be sure to pop-in next door and have a cup.
